Has over 25 years of diverse experience of working in the field of environmental and water management including more than 15 years experience as a leader and coordinator of complex multi-stakeholder driven projects funded by major international donors and various private clients. He has an extensive experience in business development and project implementation in UK and 17 overseas countries including Ukraine, Georgia, Turkey, Belarus, Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Central Asia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bangladesh.
Dr. Gilbert Ahamer
In Graz, Austria, Gilbert studied Technical Physics, Environmental Protection, and Economics & Law. Since more than 20 years he is affiliated to national and international institutions of research, administration and consultancy. At the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis and the Environment Agency Austria, he contributed to climate change protection and energy economics. For the Austrian Academy of Sciences, he led interdisciplinary workshops in Central Asia, and designed Twinning projects for the European Commission in Eastern Europe and the Caucasus.
