TASHKENT – Climate action and promotion of green economy in Central Asia are in the spotlight of the 6th European Union – Central Asia High-Level Conference held on 24-25 January 2019.
BRUSSELS - The Foreign Affairs Council of the Council of the European Union adopted comprehensive Conclusions on Water Diplomacy. The Conclusions are designed to enhance EU diplomatic engagement to maximise the potential of water as a tool for peace and stability. They reaffirm the EU’s commitment to the human rights to safe drinking water and sanitation and to the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda (SDG 6, “Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all”).
TASHKENT – The national environmental experts of Uzbekistan took part in the workshop “Strategic Project Management and Financing for Environmental Projects” to broaden knowledge and understanding of strategic project management in development and preparation of environmental project proposals.
ASHGABAT – 12 national environmental experts of Turkmenistan took part in the workshop “Strategic Project Management and Financing for Environmental Projects” to learn about development and preparation of environmental project proposals.
ALMATY – 25 representatives of national and regional organisations, public and private companies took part in the workshop “Preparation and Financing of Green Projects”.
